On April 27th, Rossbrook House had a well attended fund-raising dinner at the RBC Convention Centre in Winnipeg. The "No Child Alone" Dinner was also a celebration of the work that the organization had done the previous year and since 1976 when they first opened their doors.

In an Interview with U-Multicultural TV reporter, Zuher Amustre, Executive Director Patty Mainville explained, "Our doors are open to all residents, newcomers, and any child or youth looking for a safe home. Whatever their culture and beliefs, they will always be welcomed at Rossbrook House." Patty Mainville went on to explain that they create a family atmosphere and give children and youth a safe place to feel a sense of belonging because they believe that no child should be alone in Winnipeg.

Almusre also spoke to several guests who discussed the difficulties children and youth in Winnipeg face, the significance of the organization to them, and the services and opportunities that are provided so that the young people may succeed in life.

The organizations puts on many daily programs and activities. The funds from this event helps them continue what they do, helping many indigenous children and children from all backgrounds, ages 6 to 24.
