Yevgenia Tatarenko Speaks of Her Work to Build the Ukrainian Education, Culture and Language in Manitoba.

Сьогодні в студії людина, яка носить в собі нескінченний запас енергії, щира українка кожною клітиною тіла, кожною вібрацією душі, в кожному русі думок, та у всьому що вона робить та чим живе, Євгенія Татаренко.

Євгенія Татаренко викладачка, директорка, організаторка заходів, мотиватор, журналістка, мисткиня, письменниця. 

Молода та амбітна козачка з Запоріжжя приїхала в Канаду та підкорила маленьке місто Морден, зробивши його яскравою зіркою української діаспори на мапі Манітоби. 

Жінка емігрувала в Канаду сім років назад і за цей час встигла заснувати одну з найпрогресивніших українських шкіл Канади - Ukrainian United School в Мордені.

Євгенія засновниця BORSCH Ukrainian Cultural Club через який організовує різні заходи, святкування, концерти, майстер-класи, фестивалі та покази. За останні 13 років організувала близько 250 таких заходів.

Євгенія одна з тих, кому надано право підіймати Український Прапор на офіційних заходах з Мерами різних міст Манітоби. Євгенія зазначає, що разом з прапором вона підіймає усю українську культуру та освіту високо в гору. Жінка голосувальник члену Освітньої Ради Конгресу Українців Канади. Тобто одна з тих, хто впливає на прийняття рішень, куди саме буде рухатися українська освіта в Канаді.

Вона волонтер та засновниця Help Ukraine - Morden - благодійної організації, яка була відкрита на сьомий день повномасштабної війни та допомагає бійцям та парамедикам.

Євгенія в інтерв’ю розповідає звідки в неї енергія працювати та не здаватись, що для неї означає бути українкою і як вона залишається патріоткою своєї держави навіть на відстані 7000 кілометрів.

In the Community Hour program, Ksenia Khudynetsa learns the stories of people who, thousands of kilometers from their native home, nurture Ukrainian culture. Their hearts are filled with love that is not erased by distance.

She is a teacher, director, event organizer, motivator, journalist, artist, and writer.

A young and ambitious Cossack from Zaporozhye came to Canada and 'conquered' the small town of Morden - making it a bright star of the Ukrainian diaspora on Manitoba's map.

The woman emigrated to Canada 7 years ago and found one of a progressive Ukrainian schools in Canada - the Ukrainian United School in Morden - which has a Saturday program for children to learn about the Ukrainian culture.

Evgenia is the founder of BORSCH Ukrainian Cultural Club, through which she organizes various events, celebrations, concerts, master classes, festivals and shows. Over the past 13 years, she has organized 250 such events.

Evgenia is one of those who have been granted the right to raise the Ukrainian Flag at some official events with the Mayors of a few Manitoba cities. Evgenia notes that together with the flag, she lifts Ukrainian culture and education 'high up in the mountains'. She is a voting member of the Educational Council of the Congress of Ukrainians in Canada, where she can influence decisions about where Ukrainian education in Canada will move.

She is a volunteer and the founder of Help Ukraine in Morden, a charitable organization that was opened on the seventh day of the full-scale war that helps soldiers and paramedics.

In an interview, Evgenia tells us where she gets the energy to work and not give up. She also tells us what it means to her to be Ukrainian and how she remains a patriot of her country even at a distance of 7,000 kilometers.
