CommUNITY204: Delivering Support To All Marginalized And Houseless Communities In Providing Basic Human Needs And Support

CommUNITY204 Inc. is a non-profit grassroots organization that exists as a platform for community connection, providing acts of selfless volunteerism and altruism. Their indigenous-influenced group will walk beside; support, and advocate for the community of Winnipeg, to assist people from all walks of life. CommUNITY204 reinforce a belief in Lateral Love, Lateral Empathy, and Lateral unity with the hope to encourage an abundance of Compassion, Camaraderie, and Positivity toward all of those they engage with. 

Daniel Hidalco is a co-founder and director of CommUNITY204 and one of the sounder of a SAAB peace walkers. He has brought together of variety of people 

Every single Sunday commUNITY204 have an event called Soup for the Soul Sundays where they provide meals for up to 300 individuals. Hidalgo has used his own money to produce a logo and to buy serving equipment and supplies for Soup for the Soul Sundays, which is held once a week at 3:30 p.m.

October 15 they celebrated their 2 year anniversary. They did their soup extra special in whatever they can.

They also provide clothing, hygiene kits for the folks that out there, appropriate footwear and winter jackets during extreme cold weather making sure that the people feel safe and that they feel cared for.
