Ouverture d'un nouveau centre régional de formation des pompiers à Bourget
Le service d'incendie de la Cité de Clarence-Rockland a inauguré cette semaine son nouveau centre de formation en conteneur à Bourget.
Approuvée dans le dernier budget, cette installation servira non seulement aux pompiers locaux - en les gardant plus près de chez eux et en faisant économiser de l'argent à la ville - mais elle servira également de centre de formation régional où des pompiers venant d'aussi loin que Toronto pourront s'inscrire aux cours.
Pour l'inauguration, les membres de la communauté ont été invités à prendre part à des exercices de simulation d'incendie avant qu'une véritable démonstration de lutte contre les incendies ait lieu dans un environnement contrôlé.

The fire department of the city of Clarence-Rockland unveiled their new containerized fire training facility in Bourget this week.
Having been approved in the latest budget, this facility will not only serve local fire fighters - keeping them closer to home and saving the city money - but will also act as a regional training center with firefighter from as far as Toronto booking into the courses.
For the unveiling, members of the community were invited to take part in a simulated fire training exercises before a real firefighting demonstration took place in a controlled environment.
