Nipissing First Nation Governance Meeting

Lisa Restoule-Brazier of the Anishinawbek Nation explains how the Anishinawbek Governance Agreement information sessions held in Nipissing First Nation in February of 2020, hopes to inform community members about the new Governance Agreement.  The Anishinawbek Governance Agreement was an attempt to remove member First Nations from the election provisions of the Indian Act.  Ratification votes were held in March of 2020.  Fore more information, contact: info@anishinabek.ca
