Over 130 people came out to celebrate the induction of three new names to the Greater St. Stephen Sports Wall of Fame at the fourth annual induction ceremony, which was held on October 22, 2022 at the Garcelon Civic Center. The ceremony is a celebration of the athletes and coaches who have demonstrated excellence and leadership in St. Stephen area and surrounding community. Every year, the volunteer Board of Directors receives nominations in the categories of athlete, team, and builder, and celebrates the winners at the annual dinner and auction.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the ceremony and induction of new names to the wall of fame have been put on hold since 2019, so this year's awards ceremony took on added meaning since it is the first time new names have been immortalized in sports history in three years, and also the first time the community has been able to celebrate greatness in local sports at an in-person ceremony. 

The 2022 inductees to the Greater St. Stephen Sports Wall of Fame include Pat Zwicker (in the category of Builder/Coach), Tom Stewart (in the category of Athlete), and 1957-60 St. Croix Baseball Team (in the category of Team). 

"It is such a tremendous honour," said Tom Stewart, a celebrate marathon athlete and national powerlifting champion. "I am also the first inductee whose father is also on the wall, so this takes on added meaning."

At the end of the dinner and awards ceremony, inductees and guests congregated in the lobby of the Garcelon Civic Centre where a curtain was lifted to reveal the new plaques on the wall of fame honouring the new inductees. The Sports Wall of Fame has become an important fixture at the Garcelon since its inception in 2017.
