The equality project is all about people helping people. This Christmas season you don’t need to be alone, the centre will be open on December 25th from noon to 2pm. If you’re looking to help out you can purchase items listed on their Facebook page, as well as the organization accepts cash donations. You can learn more by going to their website at www.theequalityproject.ca

If you’re in need of a doctor over the holidays, physicians will be at the Ashcroft Urgent and Priimary Care Unit. They will be on site December 24 and December 31 and all day on January 1. Virtual doctors are available during the week from 9 am to 12 noon with the communities hardworking nurses available daily at the Urgent and Primary Care unit.

On January 21, 2023, the Ashcroft RCMP and the fire department will be once again facing-off in a hockey game in support of local charity, the Honour Ranch, for their annual family-friendly head-to-head charity Guns and Hoses’ hockey match.
