У сьогоднішньому випуску Ukrainian View Вадим чесно поділився хвилюваннями та очікуваннями, розказав в якому місті Канади найбільше очікує концерту та чому вирішив відправитись у тур сольно.

- В якому місті Канади ви найбільше очікуєте концерту?
Якщо в Торонто я давно не був і скучив за тією публікою, яку я знаю і яка знає мене добре, то у Ванкувер я не був зовсім, і мені цікаво побачити місто і зустріти тих людей. Я знаю багато про Канаду, але є багато міст і місць, де мені не доводилося бувати. Гурт Mad Heads дав понад тисячу концертів по всій Україні, тому багато людей або були на концертах, або точно чули пісні. На іншому континенті це все ще дуже сильно підсилюється емоціями. Хоча добре, що зараз багато українських артистів їдуть з концертами, але це все одно не те саме, що бути в Україні. Це буде більше, ніж просто музичний концерт; це буде зустріч близьких людей, яких зараз об’єднує багато речей, особливо перед обличчям тієї великої біди, яка відбувається у нас.

- Ви відправляєтесь у благодійний тур сольно. Чи вам комфортно виступати на сцені без гурту Mad Heads?
Я люблю виступати з гуртом, люблю спілкуватися з музикантами. Мені на сцені набагато легше, коли я там не сам. Але в даному випадку, на жаль, можливості є такими, які вони є. Цей вибір продиктований теперішньою необхідністю, оскільки концерти є благодійні. І чим більше ми економимо коштів на організації концертів, тим більше коштів акумулюється і відправляється на потреби наших збройних сил. Це була пропозиція від організатора туру, щоб ми брали якомога менше людей. Ми намагаємось на всіх витратах економити. Ми використовуємо ті можливості, які є, щоб бути максимально ефективними у нашій благодійній діяльності. Останнім часом мені доводилося багато виступати у такому форматі, я знаю, як це робити, і, чесно кажучи, я не бачив розчарованих людей через відсутність гурту. Це для мене більше задоволення грати з живими музикантами. Я знаю, що шанувальники музики справжні; вони теж хотіли б почути гурт. Але для більшості важливіше почути улюблені пісні і побачити одне одного, побачити мене і разом поспівати. Так що я маю надію, що через 2-3 роки ми переможемо, і будуть зовсім інші умови, і ми зможемо проїхатися тими самими містами уже повноцінними комерційними концертами з повним гуртом, і ми будемо святкувати перемогу України, а настрій буде ще краще.

- За вашими спостереженнями, чи зменшується актуальність та увага до благодійних концертів? Чи мають українці ресурси, щоб так активно донатити, як це було на початку повномасштабного вторгнення?
В Україні дійсно менше коштів, це правда, але там більше українців, і їм безпосередньо падають ракети на голови, що дуже сильно мобілізує. Часто українці віддають дійсно останні копійки. Це, зокрема, захоплює. Знову ж таки, це не для всіх, але деякі роблять це. Давайте дивитися правді в очі. Але є багато українців, які долучаються і допомагають, хто чим може. Саме тому Україна продовжує стояти. І я вірю, що буде й надалі.

Kazka Entertainment announced a new charity tour across North America. Mad Heads' frontman, Vadym Krasnooky, will be performing in 17 cities across Canada to raise donations for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

In this episode of Ukrainian View, Vadym honestly shared his excitement and expectations, revealing which city in Canada he's most looking forward to and why he decided to embark on this solo tour.

- Which city in Canada are you most looking forward to performing in?
"If I haven't been to Toronto for a while, and I miss that familiar audience who knows me well, then it is Toronto. Vancouver is entirely new to me, and I'm curious to explore the city and meet its people. While I know a lot about Canada, there are still many cities and places I haven't had the chance to visit. Mad Heads has performed over a thousand concerts across Ukraine, so many people have either attended our shows or at least heard our songs. On another continent, these emotions are heightened even more. Although it's good that many Ukrainian artists are touring now, it's still not the same as being in Ukraine. It will be more than just a music concert; it will be a gathering of close people who are now united by many things, especially in the face of the great adversity we're experiencing."

- You're embarking on a charity tour solo. How comfortable do you feel performing on stage without the Mad Heads?
"I love performing with the band and interacting with the musicians. It's much easier for me on stage when I'm not alone. But in this case, unfortunately, we have to work with what we have. This choice is dictated by the current necessity, as the concerts are charitable. The more we save on concert organization expenses, the more funds are accumulated and sent to the needs of our armed forces. The tour organizer suggested keeping the team as small as possible. We're trying to cut costs wherever we can. We're utilizing the available opportunities to be as effective as possible in our charity work. Lately, I've had to perform a lot in this format. I know how to do it, and honestly, I haven't seen disappointed people due to the absence of the band. It's more fulfilling for me to play with live musicians. I know music fans are genuine; they would also love to hear the band. But for most, it's more important to hear their favourite songs and see each other, to see me and sing along together. So I hope that in 2-3 years, we'll overcome this, and there will be completely different conditions. We'll be able to tour those same cities with full-scale commercial concerts with the full band. We'll be celebrating Ukraine's victory, and the mood will be even better."

- From your observations, is the relevance and attention to charity concerts diminishing? Do Ukrainians have the resources to donate as actively as they did at the beginning of the full-scale invasion?
"There is indeed less money in Ukraine, that's true, but there are more Ukrainians, and rockets are falling directly on their heads, which greatly mobilizes them. Often, Ukrainians give away their very last pennies. That's admirable. Again, it's not everyone, but some do. Let's face the truth. But there are many Ukrainians who pitch in and help however they can. That's why Ukraine continues to stand. I believe it will continue to do so."
