Lead Story:

Gusto 54 Restaurant Group announced the opening of Café Zuzu at 555 Dundas Street East taking over
the space that was once home to Paintbox Bistro, which was known for its social and environmental
inpact in Regent Park.

Café Zuzu is a brand new multi-faceted concept of café & bistro, retail space and will continue to be a neighbourhood community hub prioritizing local hiring practices to serve the community with culturally relevant, transporting culinary experiences.

Café Zuzu It's intended to be inspired by the nostalgia of 1950s Italy and will be an all-day café & bistro with Italian pastry turned into wine bar at night with two corner patios on the North and West sides as well as a sidewalk gelato service featuring flavours from the Landsdowne Cone.

Gusto 54, led by Janet Zuccarini, is committed to partner with local organizations in the Regent Park
community to maintain access to the space with a calendar of events centred around entrepreneurship
in hospitality and women in leadership.

Additionally, the space will be home to Gusto 54 Catering overseeing off-site services in over twenty
venues across the GTA, and specializing in planning weddings and corporate events.

The team is excited to open their doors late summer 2022 to serve this incredible community.
