Matapedia Valley Community Television is an independent, non-profit community television station, created in 1980. It was born out of Matapédiens' desire to equip themselves with a social, economic, cultural and educational development tool for its environment. It offers information and programming dedicated to the community. It is also a training tool for the next generation. Its mandate is to produce and broadcast--for and by Matapédiens--television programs that reflect their reality.
