On the second episode of season two of Spartan TV, St. Stephen High School students take a closer look at the group of international students currently studying at the high school to find out what it's like to relocate to smalltown New Brunswick from elsewhere in the world, particularly at the time of COVID-19. 

There are currently 11 international students at St. Stephen High School, some of which are studying in St. Stephen for a semester and some for an entire year abroad. 

Yannick from Hamberg, Germany said, "I'm from a very big city in Germany, but I wanted to come here to learn about a new culture and also to learn English because it's very important to my future to know English."

Other students from Germany said that, while they already had a good base in the English language, relocating to St. Stephen allowed them to be fully immersed in the language so that they could better master their skills. Many of the German exchange students are also enjoying the beauty and nature of smalltown New Brunswick--a stark contrast to their more urban lives back home.

St. Stephen High School students also said they benefit from having international students in their school every year. They have been able to expose themselves to young people from many different parts of the world, from countries located in South America, Asia and Europe. They experience has also allowed them to make friends with an international network of fellow students, which many plan to stay in contact with for years to come.
