The Canadian Federation of Students - An Effective and United Voice
Students in universities need a lot of help and support, especially if the student is an international student. These students do not have enough information about the city which they study in its universities.
The eighteenth episode of " The Civic Platform" features Marie Paule, chairperson of the Canadian Federation of Students – Manitoba.
Paule speaks about the history of the Canadian Federation of Students, students challenges, and the Canadian Federation of Students' campaigns.
Paule also spoke about how this non-profit organization contributes to knowledge for students in new cities and the types of services they provide to students, whether with housing, transportation, or getting to know the commercial centers.
Paule also explained that when students have no help, they give them tips and references that may help them in some way. Zuher Almusre also spoke with Judith Oviosun, Campaigns Coordinator, The Canadian Federation of Students – Manitoba.
Oviosun speaks about her role in the organization and how, through her position, she helps students who need help.
Oviosun expressed her happiness in being with them because she had gone through the same experiences before. So, she knows very well what they are going through and what their needs are.
This episode also includes two videos of some students who shared their experience with The Canadian Federation of Students and answered an important question: Why should the students participate The Canadian Federation of Students?
