Islamic Relief Organizes Fundraiser in Winnipeg for Earthquake-affected Orphans in Syria and Turkey

الهيئة الإسلامية للإغاثة في كندا إسلامك ريليف أقامت حملة تبرعات في مدينة وينيبيغ بمقاطعة مانيتوبا لصالح الأطفال الأيتام في عدد مختلف من الدول وكان النصيب الأكبر من هذه الحملة لضحايا الزلزال المدمر في سوريا الذي خلف عدداً كبيراً من الأيتام 

 الحملة أقيمت في القاعة الرياضة في المسجد الكبير في وينيبيغ بحضور وزير الإسكان الكندي والتنوع والشمول بحكومة كندا أحمد حسين وممثلين من الهيئة الإسلامية للإغاثة في كندا  

الصحفي زهير المصري من قناة يو ملتيكلتشرل تحدث الى الشيخ صادق باتان أخصائي المشاركة المجتمعية في الهيئة الإسلامية للإغاثة في كندا وسأله عن سبب الحملة وأهميتها للجالية الإسلامية في وينيبيغ. الشيخ صادق قال: كمنظمة دولية إنسانية وإنمائية وخيرية غير حكومية، تعمل الإغاثة الإسلامية على خدمة الإنسانية منذ 36 عامًا. ومن خلال تواجدنا النشط والفعال في أكثر من 48 دولة في شتى أنحاء العالم، فإننا نسعى جاهدين لجعل العالم مكانًا أفضل وأكثر إنصافًا للثلاثة مليارات إنسان الذين ما زالوا يعيشون في حالة الفقر. بغض النظر عن العرق، أو الجنس، أو المعتقد، أو اللون   

الشيخ صادق أضاف أيضا: اليوم في وينيبيغ نجمع تبرعات للأيتام وخصوصاً للأيتام في سوريا وتركيا الذين تعرضوا للزلزال الأخير. فهم اليوم بأمس الحاجة للمساعدة ومد يد العون لهم لكي يتخطوا هذه المحنة التي دمرت البشر والحجر  

الهيئة استضافت عدداً من المتحدثين خلال الحملة الذين أكدوا على مفاهيم التعاون والعطاء خصوصاً في شهر رمضان المبارك الذي تتضاعف به الحسنات ويتنافس به الصائمون على فعل الخير لبلوغ أعلى الدرجات

For the benefit of orphaned children in Turkey and Syria, Islamic Relief Canada organized a donation drive in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The majority of this campaign's funds went to help those affected by the tragic earthquake in Syria, which left many children orphaned.  

Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Housing and Diversity and Inclusion of Canada, along with officials of The Islamic Relief Canada, attended the campaign, which was held in the Sports Hall of the Grand Mosque in Winnipeg. 

Sadique Pathan, Senior Community Engagement Specialist at The Islamic Relief Canada, was interviewed by journalist Zuher Almusre from U Multicultural channel about the campaign's purpose and significance to Winnipeg's Muslim community. Sadique said that Islamic Relief has been working to assist humanity for 36 years as a non-governmental worldwide humanitarian, development, and charitable organization. We work to improve the world for the three billion people who still live in poverty through our active presence in more than 48 countries worldwide. irrespective of gender, race, creed, or colour. 

Additionally, Sadique stated: "Today in Winnipeg, we are collecting donations for orphans, particularly for Syrian and Turkish children who were affected by the most recent earthquake." They need assistance now more than ever to get through this experience that has ruined both people and stones. Please lend a helpful hand.  

Throughout the campaign, the authority hosted a number of speakers who emphasized the virtues of collaboration and altruism, particularly during the blessed month of Ramadan when good actions multiply and individuals who fast compete to do the most good.
